Charity Alliance Program
About the Program:
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) has established a charity alliance program which aims to continue the growth and advancement of junior golf in the Southeast. The alliance will provide financial assistance to skilled players who otherwise lack the financial means to play on the Tour. The HJGT and its partners expect this alliance to enhance the future development, advancement, and enrichment of junior golf. By allowing underprivileged players the opportunity to play in its outstanding tournaments, the HJGT intends to afford them the opportunity to gain valuable tournament experience and exposure that they would otherwise not have.
All members of the benefitting organization will be invited to attend the tournament so they can get a feel for the atmosphere of a golf tournament. Furthermore, the HJGT staff will put on pre-tournament activities one day before tournament play, to which all juniors and their parents are invited at no cost. The players will participate in rules sessions, competitions, seminars, and other activities that will increase their skills and knowledge of the game of golf.
