Regional Jr. Golf Tour storming into Palm Beach

Hurricane Jr. Golf Tour to conduct 1st annual event at Binks Forest

Jacksonville, FL-The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) will be hosting the Palm Beach Jr. Challenge on February 11 & 12 at Binks Forest Golf Course in Wellington, Florida.  This will be the 1st time that the HJGT will host a tournament at Binks Forest Golf Course; the HJGT holds over 50 tournaments annually across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Although it will be the first time the HJGT has been to this specific course our staff is confident that it will prove to be an enjoyable experience for all of our junior golfers.

The Palm Beach Junior Challenge at Binks Forest will feature 36-holes of stroke play on the club’s beautiful 18-hole course across four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 15-18 and Girls 11-14. The tournament will be ranked by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard (NJGS) as well as offer Florida Junior Tour Exemptions for the Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, and Girls 15-18 age divisions. New to the tour this year is the Bridgestone Challenge! Premium members will have the chance to win a dozen Bridgestone B330 golf balls, a Bridgestone hat, and
an opportunity to earn 3x rewards points. The HJGT would also like to extend a special promotion to all players new to the tour, any player who has not played in a HJGT tournament before can register for their first tournament for only $99, call the HJGT headquarters for more information!

Binks Forest golf course is one of the more unique golf courses in Florida. Holes are lined with luscious greenery and fairways accented with pine trees. The course has a newly renovated 30,000 sq ft club house, and the course itself is positioned within one of the premier living quarters in the city. All of which, will prove to be a great host to all of our junior golfers and spectators.

"As a parent of a successful jr. golfer and two time winner on the HJGT, I can tell you that large national tournaments and invitational's are a great way to see the competition, but becoming the best in your region of the country and proving it over and over again on a jr. tour like the HJGT will gain you more recognition, not to mention consistently help you in your national rankings."
