Player Referral Program
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) has established a 
Player Referral Program! This program provides all HJGT members—Basic and Premium —with the opportunity to accumulate points. By referring friends, players will gain points which may be redeemed for future discounts on tournament entry fees.
Who Can Participate
All HJGT members have the opportunity to participate in the program; however, Premium members have additional opportunities for gaining points (see the “How to Gain More Points” section below).
How to Gain Points – Tournament Registration Referrals
Players will gain 5 points for each friend that registers for a HJGT tournament using their personal code. All players will be given a personal code unique only to that player. A player’s friend will be able to enter the code at the end of their tournament registration on the payment screen. Players can easily share their personal code with their friends in a variety of ways, including:
- Word-of-Mouth
- Players can verbally give their personal code to their friends
- Players can share their personal code with friends via e-mail
- Players can post their personal code to their friends via Facebook directly from their Players Club account by clicking on the Facebook icon next to their personal code (see the “How to View Your Personal Code” section below)
- Players can post their personal code to their followers via Twitter directly from their Players Club account by clicking on the Twitter icon next to their personal code (see the “How to View Your Personal Code” section below)
* Points will only be awarded to players if their friend enters the personal code at the end of tournament registration on the payment screen. Adjustments will not be made to a player’s account if a friend they referred did not enter the personal code. No exceptions will be made!
* Unlike our past player referral program, players may refer other players. Players do not need to refer new members to gain points.
How to Redeem Points
Once 50 points have been accumulated they will automatically be converted to the player’s account as a $50 credit. Moreover, for every 1 point gained, a $1 credit will be earned. This credit is available to pay for future entry fees and will automatically be applied the next time a player registers for a tournament. There is no need to call or e-mail the HJGT as this credit will be automatically applied when you register for your next tournament!
How to Monitor Points
Each player can monitor their points using their personal Players Club account. To log into your account, enter your ID and password in the “Player Login” box at the bottom of our website (www.hjgt.org). To view your rewards points balance and history of your awards and redemptions, click on the “Rewards” tab in your account.
How to View Your Personal Code
Each player can view their personal code using their personal Players Club account. To log into your account, enter your ID and password in the “Player Login” box at the bottom of our website (www.hjgt.org). To view your personal code, click on the “Rewards” tab in your account. From that tab, you may view your personal code under the “Buy with Friends” heading and may post your code to Facebook and/or Twitter by clicking on the appropriate icon.
* Please note the “Save $1 on any tournament” details message next to your personal code. This message implies that all friends using a player’s code will receive a $1 discount on their tournament entry fee. Once a friend uses the code, 5 points will automatically be applied to the player’s account.
How to Gain More Points
Do you want to gain more points? If so, all you need to do is upgrade your membership! Our Premium members have additional opportunities for gaining points in our new “Player Rewards Program.” In this program, Premium members can also gain points by:
- Participating in HJGT tournaments
- Finishing in 1st – 5th place in HJGT tournaments
- Making birdies and eagles in HJGT tournaments
- Par 3/4/5 Performance Average Below Par
- Bridgestone Challenge Holes
- Wearing HJGT-sponsored apparel and/or accessories to HJGT tournaments
- Registering on-site for future HJGT tournaments or registering for multiple tournaments at a time
- Marketing the HJGT
- And many more…
Important Program Facts
* Tournament registration referral points will be automatically applied to a player’s account once a friend registers for an event using that player’s personal code. If for any reason the friend you referred to the event withdraws, the points you earned will be deducted from your account.
* Any points earned in 2012 will rollover to the 2013 season.
